Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in the PR5 area on a part-time, morning-only basis, starting in October.

The role involves 1-1 support, assisting the class teacher with learning activities, and providing pastoral support across the morning sessions. The school is accessible by bus from Preston town centre, offering a convenient commute.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience as TA in a primary school setting.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Working 1-1 with children needing additional support.
• Working Monday to Friday mornings only.
• Providing pastoral support to children who may need extra help.
• Contributing to the creation of a safe and nurturing learning environment and keeping records.
• Supporting pupils with special educational needs.
