Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead the cleaning team at our Chester site. You will oversee all cleaning duties and supervise staff, including rotas, training and performance. The role requires flexible hours and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards.

You will engage in staff development through on-site training, support investigations when needed, and manage stock, supplies and budget-aligned orders to ensure impeccable cleanliness and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and prioritise with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms and other ad hoc areas.
• Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruitment.
• Identify on-site training needs and record completed training.
• Involvement in investigation matters such as accidents or disciplinary cases.
• Monitor cleaning products, maintain stock and submit orders within site budgets.
