Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is a leading facilities management company recruiting a Cleaning Manager to oversee all cleaning duties and supervise the team on site. The role requires managing rosters, training, site audits, and recruitment, with a focus on customer service and meeting deadlines.

You will ensure stock control of cleaning products, budget adherence, and handle on-site investigations when required. The position is based in the Widnes area within the UK.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience as Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and be flexible with hours and days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms and other ad hoc areas.
• Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruiting new employees where required.
• Identify training needs on-site, conduct training where possible and keep records of training on-site.
• Handle investigations related to incidents or potential disciplinary matters.
• Monitor cleaning products on-site, maintain stock levels and submit orders in line with site budgets.
