Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is recruiting a Breakfast Club Assistant for 5 hours per week, 8am to 9am, Monday to Friday. Your duties include supervising children before the school day, ensuring their safety and welfare, and promoting positive conduct.

You will tidy the dining area, wipe tables, and assist with basic hygiene. PVG scheme membership is required prior to starting. Salary is £25,698 to £25,971 pro rata.

Qualifications

• You will ideally have experience working with children in a school situation or voluntary capacity.
• You will be punctual, reliable, have a basic knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness and also have the ability to execute routine tasks on your own initiative as well as working to the instructions of the Head Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during breakfast time and ensure their safety and happiness.
• Clean tables and spillages; keep dining area clean and tidy.
• Promote positive conduct in line with council policy and procedures.
