Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to supervise children from 08:00 to 09:00, Monday to Friday, ensuring safety and a positive start to the school day.

You will work with the local team under the Head Teacher, assist with welfare, maintain hygiene, clean tables, and comply with council policies. PVG scheme membership is required before starting; the post is temporary until 25/06/2027.

Qualifications

• You will ideally have experience working with children in a school setting or voluntary capacity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during breakfast time in the school grounds and promote safe, positive conduct.
• Assist with cleaning tables and spillages to keep the dining area clean and tidy.
