Job summary

Derby Homes is seeking a Money Adviser to support residents in maximising income and managing debts, working within a collaborative team. The role focuses on clients with complex debt issues and is funded by the Crisis Resilience Fund.

The ideal candidate will have money advice experience, be able to maintain case management systems, and, if possible, be a Debt Relief Order intermediary or accredited through the Institute of Money Advisers.

Qualifications

• Experience in giving money advice is essential.
• Experience of maintaining case management systems.
• Debt Relief Order intermediaries and accreditation through the Institute of Money Advisers preferred.

The Money Adviser post is a varied and challenging role working with residents of Derby to maximise their income and manage their debts. This is a new role funded by the Crisis Resilience Fund and will be working with clients across all tenure with complex and multiple debt problems with the aim of building financial resilience. You will be a part of a supportive and collaborative team of advisers.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who wants to help vulnerable people. Experience of giving money advice is essential, as is experience of maintaining case management systems.

We would be especially interested in applicants who are approved Debt Relief Order intermediaries and are accredited through the Institute of Money Advisers.
