Job summary

Citizens Advice is hiring a Money Adviser (Trainee positions available) in a hybrid role across Buxton, Chesterfield, Ilkeston or Matlock. The role involves delivering FCA-regulated money advice to people in financial difficulty and includes full training through the Money Advice Learning Plan.

We welcome both experienced advisers and trainees, with a flexible approach to remote work for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Non-judgemental, empathetic approach
• Strong IT and digital skills, quick learner
• Commitment to performance targets and KPIs
• Experience in FCA-regulated money advice (preferred)
• Solid understanding of welfare benefits system (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide FCA-regulated money advice to individuals in financial difficulty
• Deliver high-quality money advice as part of the Money Advice team
• Participate in training and development; complete Money Advice Learning Plan
