Job summary

The University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences invites applications for a part-time, fixed-term postdoctoral researcher to explore molecular mechanisms underpinning Parkinson’s disease.

You will work with iPSC-based models and collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Molecular Neurodegeneration Research Group, contributing to mechanistic studies and high-impact publications.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for mechanistic studies with a proven track record in cellular and molecular biology, evidenced by peer‑reviewed publications.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Post‑doctoral researcher with external funding.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a research programme investigating molecular mechanisms underpinning Parkinson’s disease.
• Work with iPSC-based models and interrogation of identified pathways.
• Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Molecular Neurodegeneration Research Group.
