University of Oxford's Centre for Human Genetics seeks a Research Assistant in Molecular and Cellular Biology to join the Ideker Lab's Oxford experimental programme. You will help develop predictive models of cells using protein measurements, perturbations and dynamic phenotypes.

The role involves establishing and maintaining mammalian cell systems, performing genome editing with CRISPR, and applying imaging and proteomics to support research, publications and presentations.

Qualifications

• Essential: degree in biological sciences, biomedical sciences, biochemistry or related discipline.
• Hands-on mammalian cell culture experience and aseptic technique.
• Experience with CRISPR-Cas genome engineering and standard molecular biology methods.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain mammalian cell systems and support workflows.
• Perform endogenous protein tagging, CRISPR perturbation, imaging and proteomics.
• Generate engineered cell models and troubleshoot experiments.
• Analyze data and contribute to publications and presentations.
