Job summary

McGregor Boyall is seeking a technically minded Modular Delivery Engineer in London. You will support pre-construction, design and delivery teams, developing modular MEP strategies and integrating DfMA principles across tender and live projects.

The role focuses on optimizing building services through modular construction, offsite fabrication and innovative design choices to improve efficiency, cost, buildability and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification with relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of modular construction, MEP interfaces and design for manufacture.
• Experience delivering modular MEP, DfMA or offsite solutions.
• Proficiency in model review/coordination tools such as Navisworks or Revizto.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support to pre-construction and bid teams.
• Review drawings and specs to identify modular MEP opportunities.
• Develop modular strategies aligned with project requirements and client objectives.
• Prepare RFIs to clarify technical requirements and resolve design uncertainties.
• Develop modular concepts to improve efficiency, buildability and value.
• Produce cost estimates for modular solutions with estimating teams.
• Review designs to ensure integration of modular installations.
