Calibre Search is seeking an Assistant Design Coordinator near Huddersfield to join a team delivering off-site engineered buildings. You will coordinate architectural, structural and MEP information, liaise with consultants and manufacturers, and help bring designs into manufacture with site coordination support.

The role suits an Architectural Technician/Technologist or BIM Technician looking to progress in design coordination and project delivery, with exposure to buildability and practical

Formación

• Experience with technical construction information (Architectural Technician/Technologist, BIM Technician or Design Coordinator).
• Understanding of how architectural, structural and MEP information interfaces.
• Knowledge of UK construction methods and Building Regulations.
• Organised, detail-focused and capable of communicating with consultants and stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to resolving design issues.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP design information.
• Review drawings, models and specifications from consultants and subcontractors.
• Identify missing or conflicting information and drive issues to resolution.
• Raise and manage RFIs and design queries.
• Maintain design trackers, programmes and information schedules.
• Attend design meetings and own actions through to completion.
• Support handover of design information into manufacture.
• Produce or amend drawings/models where needed (not primarily a drafting role).
• Support tender and pre-construction work, with occasional site visits.
