Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a CDM Coordinator/Designer to join our UK-based modular construction design team. You will produce precise AutoCAD drawings for a range of modular building projects, from conception through manufacture and installation.

The role involves updating drawings to client requirements, liaising with design, engineering, manufacturing and project teams, and ensuring drawings are suitable for production. Hybrid working and standard hours apply.

Qualifications

• Strong AutoCAD experience is essential.
• Experience in design, CAD or technical drawing roles.
• Ability to produce accurate and detailed 2D drawings.
• Good understanding of manufacturing, construction or engineering drawings.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and departments.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop designs for modular building projects.
• Produce manufacturing and construction drawings to support production.
• Amend and update drawings per project and client requirements.
• Work from technical specifications, layouts and project information.
• Liaise with engineering, production and project teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Support projects from design through manufacture and installation.
• Manage multiple drawings and projects to meet deadlines.
