Job summary

Verda is building a modular data center platform and is hiring a Senior Modular Product Line Engineer to turn design into a product that can be replicated across sites. You will own the modular roadmap and coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and structural teams to standardise components and interfaces.

You will push for design principles that maintain consistency while allowing site-specific variation and drive deployment time and cost down with each iteration.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or Product Design.
• 5 to 8 years developing modular or prefabricated infrastructure or industrial products.
• Strong systems thinking around standardisation and interfaces.
• Comfortable driving a roadmap across multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop a standardised, repeatable modular design that can be replicated across sites to cut design-to-deployment time and cost
• Own the modular product roadmap and configuration options
• Work with electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering to standardise components and interfaces
• Define the design principles that keep modules consistent while allowing site-specific variation
• Drive down deployment time and cost with each iteration of the product line
