Job summary

Focus Group is seeking a Modern Workplace Field Engineer to join Prism Solutions’ delivery team. You will support customers across the Midlands, South East and surrounding regions, delivering Microsoft 365, cloud and endpoint management projects while ensuring a great customer experience.

In this field-based role you’ll implement secure, scalable solutions, migrate devices, configure Intune and Entra ID, and collaborate with project teams to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 components (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).
• Experience delivering Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud projects.
• Solid networking fundamentals including VPNs, DNS, DHCP.
• Ability to manage multiple customer projects and stakeholders.
• Good documentation and change-management skills.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, migrate and support Microsoft 365 services.
• Configure and manage endpoints using Intune and Autopilot.
• Deliver Azure and hybrid infrastructure projects.
• Plan site deployments and network upgrades.
• Implement secure identity controls (MFA, CA).
• Deploy cyber security solutions.
• Troubleshoot networking across LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi.
• Produce technical docs and handover packages.
• Collaborate with service desk and projects teams.
• Conduct discovery sessions and site surveys.
• Identify automation opportunities.
• Travel regularly to client sites.
