Job summary

Sword Group is seeking a motivated Modern Endpoint – EUC Engineer to join our Cloud and Cyber Practice in Glasgow. You will gain hands-on experience across Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender, and Autopilot while supporting Windows, macOS, iOS and Android platforms within enterprise environments.

As part of customer engagements, you will design, implement, migrate and optimise secure endpoint management solutions, with opportunities to develop in Modern Workplace and security technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, endpoint management or Modern Workplace technologies.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 and enterprise endpoint concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Intune including enrolment, profiles, and deployments.
• Familiarity with MDM/MAM and Entra ID identity concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot end-user devices and identity-related issues.
• Interest in Microsoft Defender and Zero Trust security principles.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, migration and optimisation of Microsoft EUC solutions.
• Configure and administer Microsoft Intune across enterprise devices.
• Assist with Windows Autopilot deployments and device provisioning.
• Support device compliance policies and application deployments.
• Package, test and deploy applications within customer environments.
• Support endpoint security capabilities including Defender for Endpoint.
• Assist with Entra ID, Conditional Access and MFA initiatives.
• Provide runbooks and technical guides for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with consultants and architects to deliver outcomes.
• Travel to customer sites as required for deployments and support.
