Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to lead and deliver modern endpoint management across 9,000 Windows and iOS devices. You will shape the cloud‑first workplace strategy, drive automation, and enhance security controls within a Microsoft‑centric environment.

You will implement Intune, Conditional Access and MFA strategies while collaborating with Security and IT teams to ensure governance and user experience; hybrid work model across Leicester/Hinckley/Solihull

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Intune at enterprise scale.
Automates and improves endpoint and application management processes.
Deep expertise in Conditional Access, Modern Authentication and Zero Trust.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Windows Autopilot.
Experience managing Windows and iOS devices across a large estate.
Experience with Defender for Endpoint and endpoint security.

Responsibilities

Act as senior SME and design contributor for Modern Workplace, identity and endpoint security.
Shape and deliver the technical roadmap and governance standards.
Automate endpoint management and packaging to reduce manual effort.
Manage enterprise‑scale device estate using Intune and related Microsoft tech.
Collaborate with Security on regulatory requirements and user experience.
