Job summary

Aub is seeking a skilled Technician Demonstrator to join the Technical Services team in Poole, working three days a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays). You will guide students in modelmaking, prototyping and digital manufacturing, using workshop facilities, laser cutting, 3D printing and CAD software including Rhino 3D.

Qualifications

• Experience in modelmaking, fabrication or a related discipline.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and good communication.
• Experience with digital fabrication technologies and workshop equipment.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support in modelmaking, prototyping, fabrication and digital manufacturing.
• Deliver inductions, demonstrations and workshops while promoting safe working practices.
• Maintain specialist facilities and equipment and assist with exhibitions and collaborative projects.
