Job summary

Sphere Solutions Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a Project Manager to lead MOD contractor projects across the Plymouth area, delivering defence and infrastructure schemes from inception to completion.

The role requires an HNC or equivalent in Building/Engineering, a health and safety qualification (SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH) and a valid UK driving licence, with strong IT skills and CAFM experience. Salary up to £50,000 plus car allowance or company car, plus pension and private medical cover.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in Building, Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
• Health & Safety qualification such as SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH, plus Asbestos awareness.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office; CAFM experience is a plus.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee delivery from inception to completion.
• Manage timelines, budgets and resources to meet targets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with MOD security protocols and safety regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track.
• Drive improvements in project management processes.
