Job summary
Aureos Group is seeking an Electrician to join our Bristol-based team. You will perform electrical installation, maintenance, and testing across commercial and industrial sites, working on a national MOD contract covering South Wales and South-West England.
You will hold 18th Edition training and C&G2391, with the potential to obtain MoD SC clearance. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and independent working within a small team.
Qualifications
- Completion of a registered electrical apprenticeship or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
- City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition)
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification) desirable
- ECS Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong focus on safety and quality
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing in line with BS7671 and Aureos policies and procedures
- Set out jobs from drawings and specifications, requisition materials, and ensure all works are completed to the highest standard
- Commission and test electrical systems and issue relevant certification
- Fault-find and carry out remedial works
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers where required
- Support and mentor apprentices or trainees as part of your daily role
- LV electrical EICR
- Emergency light testing
- PAT testing
- Working at Height
- Managing sub-contractors to complete their specialist tasks, and various small electrical install projects
