Aureos is hiring an Electrician to join our Peterborough team, delivering essential electrical works on commercial and industrial sites while maintaining safety and quality. You’ll support installation, maintenance, and testing across varied sites and help ensure projects run safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will join a small operational team on a national MOD contract across Eastern England; 18th Edition training and I&T (C&G2391) are required, with MoD SC clearance capability a
Qualifications
- Completion of a registered electrical apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2).
- City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification) – desirable.
- ECS Card.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing in line with BS7671 and Aureos policies and procedures.
- Set out jobs from drawings and specifications, requisition materials, and ensure all works are completed to the highest standard.
- Commission and test electrical systems and issue relevant certification.
- Fault-find and carry out remedial works.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers where required.
- Support and mentor apprentices or trainees as part of your daily role.
