Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an RF/Satcom/AWS Network Engineer to join our dynamic Satcom and network solutions team. The role is based in a Evesham area office with UK and international travel to support field demos and customer engagements.

You will deploy and manage AWS Linux instances, configure DNS, build tunnels, pull logs and work with diverse satellite platforms including KU GEO, Iridium, OneWeb and Starlink. Travel across the UK and abroad is a core part of the role.

Qualifications

• Solid RF and Satcom fundamentals across multiple technologies.
• Experience with SD-WAN and Peplink networking.
• Practical AWS knowledge and cloud-based deployments.
• Customer-facing communication skills in high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to travel UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support across Satcom, networking and cloud workstreams.
• Support field demonstrations and customer-facing technical engagements both in the UK and internationally.
• Deploy and manage AWS Linux instances, configuring DNS, building tunnels and pulling logs as required.
• Supporting configuration and troubleshooting of SD-WAN and Peplink solutions.
• Working with a range of satellite platforms including KU GEO, Iridium, OneWeb and Starlink.
• Travelling to customer sites in the UK and internationally as required.

• Exposure to Iridium, OneWeb, Starlink or BGAN systems.
• Exposure to bespoke hardware or tracking device support.
