Centrepoint in London is seeking a Mobilisation Manager to lead national campaigns and mobilise supporters, partners and communities to affect housing policy and practice for young people experiencing homelessness.

The role sits in the Communications and Campaigns team. Hybrid working with a minimum of 50% office presence is expected, and the salary is £41,000-£45,000 per year with a permanent contract.

About Us

We provide young people experiencing homelessness with accommodation, health support and the practical and emotional support they need to build independent futures. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year. Our ambition is to end youth homelessness by 2037.

To achieve that ambition, we need to build understanding of youth homelessness, champion support for effective solutions and rally a movement of people ready to take action. As our Mobilisation Manager, you'll develop national campaigns that bring people together, challenge existing mindsets and help create lasting change for a housing system built for all young people.

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model, with a minimum of 50% of your working week spent in the office. For most full-time colleagues, this means five office days over a two-week period.

About You

You're an experienced campaigner who knows how to turn an idea into action. You've delivered public campaigns with impressive results and built relationships with supporters, partners and communities to bring people together around a shared cause. You bring bold and creative thinking to your work, and you understand how to use a full range of offline and online tools to bring a campaign to life.

You're passionate about involving people with lived experience meaningfully in campaigns. You can work across teams, influence stakeholders and use audience insight and evidence to shape your approach.

• Building and diversifying a movement of campaigners, partners and communities who can take meaningful action.
• Working with young people and colleagues to ensure lived experience helps shape campaigns.
• Creating campaigns that strengthen public understanding of youth homelessness.
• Working closely with Policy and Public Affairs colleagues to align campaigns with influencing priorities.
• Developing opportunities for supporters and strategic partners to take part in campaigning.
• Managing external creative, media and campaign agencies, and measuring the impact of your work.
• Line managing a small but high-performing team.

What We’re Looking For

You'll have experience of developing successful public campaigns and mobilising people beyond an organisation's existing supporter base. You'll be confident managing campaigns with multiple stakeholders and agencies, building partnerships and communicating compelling messages to different audiences.

You'll bring strong planning and project management skills, alongside a commitment to learning from evidence and evaluating what works. Experience of narrative change, community organising or campaigning on social justice issues would be especially valuable.
