Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited in St Ives, Cambridgeshire is seeking a Mobilisation Engineer to support the management and delivery of newly awarded contracts to ensure operation as per contract requirements.

Based at our head office, you will coordinate with estimators, bid writers and operations teams to align activities and costs, conduct asset surveys, prepare cost plans and mobilise sites across the UK while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Specialist field within A/C, Mechanical or Electrical.
• Accurate work with strong organisation.
• Excellent communication with clients and engineers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel to sites and stay away when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist mobilisation of new and existing contracts.
• Coordinate with Estimator, Bid Writer and Ops to align activities and costs.
• Arrange PPM dates with subcontractors and collect site data.
• Conduct asset condition surveys as part of mobilisation.
• Prepare cost plans and monitor mobilisation budgets.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, Quality and Health & Safety teams.
• Assist in risk assessments and reporting as required.
• Support tender and pre-qualification responses when needed.
• Capture and import assets as part of mobilisation.
• Review client data at tender/mobilisation and report gaps.

Mobilisation Engineer

Job Description

To support the management and deliver newly awarded contract to ensure they operate as per the contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the mobilisation of new and existing contracts.
• To work with the Estimator, Bid Writer & Operational teams to ensure that specific activities & costs are to the contract concerned.
• Work with the sub-contractors to agree PPM visit dates for services provided and obtaining site specific information.
• To conduct asset condition surveys as part of the mobilisation process.
• Provide detailed cost plans whilst also ensuring cost-control of delegated mobilisation budgets.
• Liaise with Human Resources, Operations, Quality and Health and Safety Teams to provide a seamless mobilisation process.
• Undertake risk assessments as and when required within the business.
• Prepare and present reports as and when required.
• Assist in the support of the Pre-Qualification and Tender responses when required.
• Capture, gather, verify, validate against client / tender list review, prepare and import assets.
• Assist review the data issued by the client at tender and mobilisation stages and report on gap / exceptions to the Mobilisation Manager.
• Assist facilitate the set planned maintenance plans for operational review and development.
• Liaise with other internal departments and team members with respect to mobilisation.
• Assist in the first stages of onsite mobilisation at client premises as engineer cover, where required.
• Adhere to Company and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by company.

Hours of Work

Monday - Friday with overtime available

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Have a specialist field within A/C, Mechanical or Electrical, Ideally multi skilled with a good understanding of aspects of M&E.
• Work to a high degree of accuracy with good organisational skills
• Strong communication skills for communicating to Clients, to engineers.
• Excellent IT skills using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for own work.
• Ability to work in an office environment and Travel to sites which will sometimes result in staying
