Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 1) to join our team in the South East of England. The mobile role covers South East London down to Kent.

This is a permanent, full-time role, 40 hours per week, with a salary of up to £30,000 per annum and a company vehicle. You will deliver water hygiene and treatment services, undertake sampling and disinfection tasks, maintain L8 logs, and report via day sheets or Planon.

Qualifications

• Legionella awareness training and knowledge of HSG274 and byelaws.
• Water hygiene service delivery knowledge and regulations.
• Experience with water sampling and sample types.
• Experience in cleaning and disinfection of water systems.
• Driving licence valid for UK travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute water hygiene/treatment services as Tier 1 technician.
• Collaborate with technical team, schedulers and administrators to deliver planned and remedial works.
• Perform tasks: temperature monitoring, descaling, storage tank inspections, cooling tower cleaning, TMV servicing, water sampling.
• Ensure L8 logbooks are up to date where primary technician.
• Prepare and submit reports via day sheets or Planon; complete remedial works and PPm visits.

Equans is looking for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 1) to join our team in the South East of England. The mobile role will cover South East London, down to Kent. What will you deliver?

• Representing EQUANS Water Compliance as a Tier 1 Water Treatment Technician to execute the self-delivery of all Water hygiene/treatment services
• Interpersonal skills will be key to gaining the trust and confidence of all Clients, effectively working with the Technical team supported by Schedulers and Contract Administrators to efficiently deliver Water Hygiene/Treatment Planned and remedial works utilising system tools
• Tasks will include but not limited to; Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections & Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean & Disinfections,TMV Servicing, Water Sampling
• Ensure all site L8 logbooks where acting as the Primary Technician are in date and accurate
• Complete work reports either via a day works sheet or Planon in a timely manner
• Carryout remedial works in response to quoted works
• Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems

Who are we looking for?

• Legionella Awareness Training including knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and any other relevant guidance
• Knowledge of Water Hygiene service delivery requirements based on Table 2.1 HSG274 Part 2
• Water Sampling experience including understanding of different sample suites and bottle types
• Clean & Disinfection experience (Disinfection of Hot and Cold Water Systems (WH005) and Inspection, Cleaning & Disinfection of Evaporative Cooling Systems - W258 trained preferable)
• Valid driving licence

This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists therefore ability to pass is essential.
