Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 3) to cover the Central Belt between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The role is permanent, full-time, and includes a company vehicle and benefits. You will execute self-delivery of water hygiene and treatment services, including monitoring, dosing, testing, and occasional plumbing works, across Scotland.

Ideal candidates have Legionella awareness, TMV servicing experience, and a driving licence. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Legionella awareness training and regulatory knowledge (L8 ACOP, HSG274)
• TMV servicing and testing experience desirable
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, Heating or Chemistry
• Valid driving licence required
• DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists clearance essential

Responsibilities

• Deliver water hygiene and treatment services across the Central Belt region
• Perform temperature monitoring, descales, tank inspections and cleaning
• Conduct dosing of inhibitors/biocides in closed systems
• Carry out cooling tower, boiler testing, water sampling and analysis
• Carry out remedial plumbing works and TMV replacements as needed
