Job summary

RAC Motoring Services seeks a Mobile Vehicle Technician to deliver planned servicing and repairs through the SMR division. You’ll work on booked appointments across the Gloucester cluster with a fully equipped RAC van and advanced diagnostics.

Expect a base salary of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, overtime options, and a 40-hour week. Applicants should have 2+ years’ experience and a valid UK driving licence. Key benefits apply after probation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 5 years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and diagnostics on customers' vehicles.
• Perform in-depth repairs and routine maintenance on-site or at customer locations.
• Adhere to RAC standards for vehicle safety checks and servicing.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspections.
• Utilise advanced diagnostics equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
