Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR Division in London and Greater London. You will perform scheduled servicing and diagnostics using mobile equipment, delivering high-quality repairs and safety checks for RAC members.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In‑depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
