Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join its SMR division in the UK. You will operate on a pre-booked schedule across the Nottingham cluster, performing routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment, and delivering high-quality repairs.

Role offers a base salary of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, 40-hour weeks, overtime options, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and diagnostics on-site using mobile equipment.
• Carry out in-depth repairs and provide member advice and recommendations.
• Complete vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
