Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for Wembley. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles at customer locations, following a 40-hour week, Mon-Fri with one Saturday per month and occasional overtime paid at 1.5x.

You'll work on EVs and conventional vehicles, use diagnostic tools, and communicate repair options to customers. A Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) and at least 2 years' post-qualification experience are required, plus a full UK licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair (Level 3 preferred).
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points, no bans).

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles at customer locations (driveway, car park, etc.), including EVs.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers; handle payments.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used.
