Mobile Vehicle Technician (Known internally as Service, Maintenance and Repair Technician)

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic, you will cover a defined geographical area, working primarily as a mobile mechanic and supporting safety recall campaigns. There is a clear progression route to work across all core areas of our SMR division, including Vehicle Inspection Service.

Requirements for a Mobile Mechanic:

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• Practical experience working with various light vehicles
• Customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
