Job summary

Day's Rental, part of the CEM Day Motor Group, is seeking a capable Vehicle Maintenance Technician to service and repair our growing fleet across a regional network. Based in a base repair workshop with mobile support, you will diagnose faults, perform repairs and respond to breakdowns to keep our fleet of 10,000+ vehicles on the road.

NVQ3 in vehicle maintenance (or City & Guilds) and a clean driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in vehicle maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Clean driving licence (D1 entitlement would be advantageous).
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle maintenance from a base repair workshop and mobile solution across an expanding regional branch network.
• Respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults.
• Repair vehicles and equipment.
• Report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and work as part of a valued team.
