Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Overview

As a RAC Mobile Mechanic, you’ll deliver expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostics directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll provide first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised service to customers at driveways, office car parks and other locations.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance on light vehicles.
• Manage stock levels, reporting and customer communications.
• Represent the RAC with pride and be the RAC in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Competitive base salary of £38,625, with on‑target earnings of up to £50,000.

Working Hours

40 hours per week, core hours 8:30am to 5pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays. Monday‑Saturday availability (8am‑8pm) offers flexibility and stability.
