Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the Slough area, offering up to £38,000 plus a company van and a monthly bonus scheme. The role suits an automotive professional who enjoys working independently and the flexibility of a mobile position.

Key tasks include servicing at customer sites, diagnosing faults, and maintaining records. You will manage daily workload, travel, and participate in an on-call rota when required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills required.
• Experience working on cars and/or vans preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Manage your own daily workload and travel schedule.
• Order parts through approved company accounts.
• Complete all work safely and to a high standard.
• Participate in an on-call rota where required.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Mobile Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Light Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on cars and/or vans
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organised and safety-focused
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota where required
