Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Acton and the wider West London area. This home-based role offers flexible shifts, strong earning potential and clear career progression within a respected automotive organisation.

Salary up to £40,000 basic with OTE up to £44,000, plus 33 days holiday, bonus scheme and pension. Training includes IMI Level 3 EV maintenance, with opportunities to develop skills and advance.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent automotive repair qualification.
• At least one year's experience as an automotive vehicle technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs, servicing and diagnostics across multiple makes.
• Visit customers in West London to provide roadside assistance and repairs.
• Provide accurate technical advice and maintain high customer service standards.
• Manage allocated schedule ensuring work is done safely and on time.
• Keep toolbox fully equipped and comply with health, safety and quality standards.
• Represent the organisation professionally at every customer interaction.

Duties:

• The Mobile Vehicle Technician will complete mechanical repairs, servicing and diagnostics across a wide range of vehicle makes.
• Visit customers throughout the designated West London area to deliver professional roadside assistance and vehicle repairs.
• Provide accurate technical advice and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage an allocated schedule effectively, ensuring work is completed safely and on time.
• Maintain a fully equipped toolbox and comply with all health, safety and quality standards.
• The Mobile Vehicle Technician will represent our organisation professionally at every customer interaction.

Requirements:

• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, City & Guilds, or an equivalent automotive repair and maintenance qualification.
• At least one year's experience as an automotive vehicle technician.
• Ability to complete a broad range of mechanical and diagnostic repairs.
• Flexibility to travel across London and work varied shifts within a 24/7 operation.
• Strong customer service skills and a proactive, organised approach.
• The successful Mobile Vehicle Technician will be confident working independently and managing their own workload.
• Previous mobile service experience is advantageous, although not essential.
