Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician (LCV Fleet) to service and repair a fleet of light commercial vehicles at client sites across Luton and surrounding areas. The role offers a stable, permanent position with a company van and fuel card.

Working Monday to Friday, with a late shift and 45–50 hours per week, you will diagnose faults, perform routine servicing, and ensure clear job documentation while delivering excellent customer service on-site.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI).
• Experience as Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on client LCV fleets at various sites.
• Carry out diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Prepare MOTs and inspections where applicable.
• Identify additional repair work as needed and complete service documentation.
• Deliver excellent on-site customer service while representing the business.

Mobile Vehicle Technician – Join a Growing Fleet Maintenance Team We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a well-established commercial fleet business covering customer sites across Luton and surrounding areas

This is a field-based role maintaining and repairing a fleet of light commercial vehicles (LCVs), working independently with a fully equipped company van. If you enjoy the variety of mobile work and want a Monday to Friday position with no weekend shifts, we'd like to hear from you.

The Role As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on customer LCV fleets at various client locations.

Duties include:

• Routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on LCVs
• Mechanical repairs and fault finding
• Diagnostics using manufacturer and multi-brand diagnostic equipment
• MOT preparation and inspections
• Identifying additional repair work where required
• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
• Delivering excellent customer service whilst representing the business on-site

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Approximately 12:00pm – 10:00pm
• 45-50 hours per week
• 9.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break
• Flexibility available on start and finish times depending on workload

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)
• Previous experience as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Experience working on light commercial vehicles
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
