Job summary

Autoskills-Uk is recruiting an experienced LCV Mobile Technician for a Monday to Friday role in Chelmsford. The position offers a basic salary of £35,500 - £37,570 with overtime and a strong progression path toward Master Technician.

You will service and repair light commercial vehicles at customer sites and roadside locations, with full manufacturer-backed training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent.
• Experience as an LCV/Mobile Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles at customer sites and roadside locations.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Complete routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation.

Location: Chelsmford
Salary: £35,500 - £37,570 DOE + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (No Weekend Work)

The Role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles at customer sites and roadside locations
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
• Complete routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Work on industry-leading brands including Mercedes-Benz, Iveco and Ford
• Deliver outstanding customer service while working independently in a mobile role
• Maintain accurate service records and complete all required documentation

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as an LCV Mobile Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsFull UK Driving Licence
• A positive attitude and willingness to continue developing your technical skills
