Job summary

Octane Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair vehicles across customer sites. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, 42.5 hours weekly, with a sign-on bonus and company van provided.

The role involves flexible work in a workshop and on-site visits, with potential overtime and progression through a structured 5-stage training programme to Master Technician level.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum or equivalent to NVQ, IMI, Mechanical Engineering or City and Guilds level 3 (or equivalent).
• Must have proof of certificate as they will be requested before starting.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair (may include warranty work).
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified).
• As a Mobile Technician you will be flexible by working in a workshop and travelling to customers' houses.
