• Proven experience of at least 3 years in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic.
• Ability to demonstrate technical and diagnostic experience.
• Holds a full UK driving licence with no major points.

Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: Bridgwater

Salary: £38,625 Basic (OTE £50,000) + Overtime 1.5 / A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385 + Company Van

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30, with 1 in 4 Saturdays-40 hours per week

Mobile Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

• Working closely with the breakdown team you will be tasked with attending breakdowns to diagnose issues and attending on the vehicle to ideally get them back on the road. Otherwise you will need to ensure the vehicle goes back to the workshop.
• Identifying problems and advising the customer on the vehicle’s issues.
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical and vehicle diagnostics.
• Represent the mobile vehicle/roadside technician as the face of the business, delivering exceptional customer service.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is ideal; we will consider Level 2 or equivalent qualifications such as City & Guilds Vehicle Maintenance, IMI or NVQ. You must be able to show your qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence – no more than 9 points or bans on the licence.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
