Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Mobile Tyre Technician to visit customer driveways and perform tyre fitting and related services. You will collect a fully equipped van from the local hub and follow smart routing to complete a range of repairs with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in other vehicle repair work is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills & experience.
• Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative.
• This role will suit those with a real passion for all things cars & motoring.
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Tyre fitting at customer locations as a mobile technician.
• Dash-cam fitting and battery replacement tasks.
• Air-con services and windscreen repairs may be carried out.
• Oil & filter changes and tow-bar fitting as required.
• Carry out repairs with guidance from smart routing tech.
• Receive full van and training to complete jobs on-site.
• Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving on the move.

Work hours: 44 hour week

Shift pattern: between Monday - Sunday 7:30am - 7:30pm including every other weekend

Responsibilities

As a Mobile Technician, you'll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you'll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers. With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work day-to-day:

• Tyre fitting
• Dash-cam fitting
• Battery replacement
• Air-con services
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes
• Tow-bar fitting
