Job summary

A Mobile Trailer Technician role based in the Lichfield area for Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. You will service and repair HGV trailers, complete documentation, and coordinate with service and parts teams.

The job requires a Class 1 driving licence, IRTEC accreditation, and welding experience. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a salary up to £44,000 plus OTE around £54,000, and a range of employee benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence required

• Experience with trailers or heavy vehicles advantageous
• Training on axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST) preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and repairs on HGV trailers
• Complete job sheets and maintain documentation
• Liaise with Service and Parts Departments
• Prepare vehicles for MOT where applicable

We are currently seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Trailer Services company based in the Lichfield area.

The successful Mobile Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £44000 with OTE of circa £54000 and working hours of Monday to Friday.

Duties:

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements:

• Semi-trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience.
• Industry standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs
• HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Car Driving Licence
• IRTEC accreditation.
• EBS diagnostics experience, including Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO systems.
• Welding certification.
• Training or experience with axle manufacturers such as BPW, SAF, or JOST.
• Tail lift training and experience.
• Double deck or lifting deck maintenance experience
