Job summary

A Mobile HGV Trailer Technician role based in Widnes, Cheshire, is available with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. The successful candidate will join a national leader in commercial vehicle services, delivering trailer maintenance, repair, and refurbishment across the UK.

You will perform repairs, fault diagnosis, MOT prep, and liaise with clients on-site, with a 45-hour week, 36k salary, overtime at time and a half, a company van and fuel card, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Trailer or HGV Technician.
• Hands-on experience with trailers, including tail lifts and curtain siders.
• Full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
• Level 2/3 automotive qualifications or equivalent are advantageous.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs on trailers following company procedures and safety standards.
• Fault diagnosis and reporting defects accurately.
• Carrying out MOT preparation and checks.
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean and equipment returned to designated locations.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Providing exceptional customer service when liaising with clients on-site.

This is an excellent Mobile HGV Trailer Technician opportunity for experienced trailer technicians seeking a mobile role within a reputable company.
