Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across various commercial and industrial settings. The role requires a thorough understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to identify hazards and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
• Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and safety hazards.
• Provide clear reports with recommendations for remedial actions.
• Ensure inspections comply with standards like BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Communicate findings effectively with clients.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical inspection or related field.
• City and Guilds 2391:52 (or equivalent) in Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3.
• 18th Edition.
