Job summary

NG Bailey is looking for a Mobile Supervisor (Mechanical or Electrical) to oversee multiple sites in the South-West region. Based in Bristol or Cardiff, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, manage PPMs to SLA targets, and handle reactive tasks efficiently on site.

The role requires strong fault-finding abilities and experience with commercial and domestic systems, plus City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications. The position offers a competitive salary with overtime and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of technicians, ensuring service delivery across operations.
• Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance to meet SLA targets and keep backlog in check.
• Ensure reactive work is completed within acceptable timescales and communicate with clients.
• Attend client calls and meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are completed promptly.
• Provide first-line management with performance reviews and development planning.
• Carry out risk assessments, site safety audits and maintain log books in compliance with safety legislation and procedures.

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
Salary: up to £50,000, plus overtime, escalation call-out (1 in 5), and flexible benefits

Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Supervisor to join our dynamic team, covering our prestigious sites in and around the South-West region. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of several sites while managing a dedicated team of highly skilled technicians. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on service delivery, uphold high standards of customer care, and lead a motivated team.

Key Deliverables

• Lead and inspire a team of technicians, ensuring excellent service delivery across all operations
• Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), ensuring tasks are completed on time and in line with SLA targets
• Maintain a manageable backlog of PPM tasks and ensure all reactive work is completed within acceptable timescales
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and address any concerns or issues
• Attend client calls and meetings where required ensuring all follow-up actions are completed promptly
• Provide first-line management by conducting performance reviews, setting clear team objectives, and supporting individual development
• Carry out risk assessments, site log book and safety audits in compliance with safety legislation and company procedures

Essential qualifications and experience
