Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking a Mobile Supervisor to support security operations across Tesco stores in the Northampton area. The role covers multiple sites with a company vehicle provided and shifts from early morning to late evening.

You will manage security teams, respond to incidents, and uphold high service standards. Successful candidates will have an SIA licence, a full UK driving licence, and prior retail security experience.

Qualifications

• Previous retail security experience is desirable.
• Supervisory experience within security is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols and security visits across multiple sites.
• Supervise and support Security Officers to maintain professional standards.
• Respond to incidents including theft and alarms.
• Support loss prevention strategies and reduce stock loss.
• Carry out site audits, spot checks and performance reviews.
• Liaise with store management and clients to resolve security concerns.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and handovers; cover shifts when needed.
• Assist with staff training and inductions; ensure policy compliance.

Tesco Northampton (Mobile Role Covering Multiple Stores/Sites, NN1 2AN)

£14.87 per hour
36 - 48 hours per week
Monday - Sunday
Shifts between 06:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 00:00

Kingdom Services Group is currently recruiting for a professional and motivated Mobile Supervisor to support security operations across multiple Tesco stores and client sites in the Northampton area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional looking to progress into a supervisory role. You will be provided with a company vehicle and will be responsible for supporting security teams, conducting site visits, responding to incidents and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery across multiple locations.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Mobile Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of security operations by:

• Conducting mobile patrols and security visits across multiple sites
• Supervising and supporting Security Officers to ensure professional standards are maintained
• Responding to incidents including theft, anti-social behaviour, alarms and suspicious activity
• Supporting loss prevention strategies and reducing retail stock loss
• Carrying out site audits, spot checks and performance reviews
• Liaising with store management and clients to resolve security concerns
• Completing detailed incident reports, patrol records and handovers
• Providing support during busy trading periods and high-risk situations
• Assisting with staff training, inductions and ongoing development
• Covering shifts where required to ensure service continuity
• Ensuring all security procedures, company policies and assignment instructions are followed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid SIA Security Licence
• A full UK driving licence
• Previous retail security experience
• Supervisory experience within a security environment (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of loss prevention and retail security procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• The ability to confidently deal with conflict and challenging situations
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
