Job summary
Wrightbus is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to deliver on-site fault diagnosis and repair for our bus customers across the UK. You will travel to customer sites, resolve mechanical and electrical faults, and provide expert technical support to keep operations running smoothly.
You will work with diagnostic tools, stay on top of warranty procedures, and participate in ongoing EV and Hydrogen training. A NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle or PSV Engineering is required, with 1 year in
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in heavy vehicle/PSV environment or dealership
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle or PSV Engineering
- Willingness to cover across the UK with weekend rota
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on buses using diagnostic tools
- Perform warranty and campaign repairs following procedures
- Communicate repair estimates to the Parts & Service Team
- Promote Wrightbus parts and services to customers
- Maintain accurate service records and comply with audit standards
- Support customers on-site at various locations as required
