Job summary

EVMLtd in Scotland is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians with PSV experience to maintain and repair a growing fleet of buses and coaches. You will work in a field-based role, diagnosing faults and performing warranty repairs across the EVM UK portfolio.

The role requires independent work, a full driving license, and a willingness to travel. Training across multiple brands and a competitive salary package are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician within the bus, coach, or heavy vehicle sector.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across the region.
• Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, including axle and driveline repairs.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections, routine maintenance, preventative measures, and repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and roadworthiness.
• Diagnose faults on HGV/PSV air systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
