Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive tasks on electrical and mechanical services within a large contract. You will ensure safety standards, quality records, and timely responses to issues, coordinating with client teams and subcontractors.

The role requires a background in building services PPM, fault diagnosis experience, and relevant City & Guilds qualifications.

Qualifications

• Essential: City & Guilds Parts/SVQ 2/3 in Service & Maintenance or recognised equivalent.
• Essential: Service & Maintenance Apprenticeship or heating engineer/plumber apprenticeship.
• Essential: Health and Safety Awareness.
• Essential: GCSEs in Maths and English.
• Essential: Experience with fault diagnosis and mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Essential: Experience in Mechanical & Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with schedules.
• Adhere to HASAWA and electrical/mechanical engineering standards.
• Maintain accurate records and QA documentation for PPM and plant.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
• Coordinate actions with client and subcontractors for PPM schedules.
• Attend monthly site meetings and provide work/equipment reports.
• Support growth of the contract into additional mechanical/electrical services.
