Job summary
Dalkia Energy Services Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical services. You will work to HASAWA standards, maintain documentation, coordinate with client and subcontractors, and help grow the contract into broader service provisions.
This role requires a strong team player with relevant City & Guilds/Apprenticeship background and safety awareness.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds/SVQ 2/3 in service & maintenance or equivalent.
- Heating engineer/plumber apprenticeship or similar.
- Health and safety awareness.
- GCSE maths and English.
- Experience with maintenance duties including fault diagnosis.
- Experience in mechanical & electrical PPM.
Responsibilities
- To carry out PPM in accordance with schedules to maximise plant reliability.
- Adhere to HASAWA requirements in all tasks.
- Maintain QA records for electrical and mechanical aspects of PPM and plant.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and help desk requests.
- Coordinate client requests and visiting subcontractors.
- Respond to call-outs and cover breakdowns as required.
- Repair electrical systems and controls for Building Services.
- Assist other trades as necessary.
- Attend monthly site meetings and provide reports.
