Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time catering assistant to support our school kitchen in the Worcester area. You will prepare meals for pupils, keep work areas clean, and assist with deliveries. The role follows health and safety rules and operates within term-time hours.

The position requires a driving licence and own transport for site-to-site travel, with no unsociable hours and holidays off as stated. A supportive team environment and full training are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle are required.
• Term-time only availability is expected.
• Experience in a kitchen or school catering environment is helpful but not essential.
• Willingness to follow food safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for the school team and pupils.
• Keep kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic.
• Support loading and unloading of deliveries and supplies.
• Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and operate equipment correctly.
• Travel to different site locations as required.
