Job summary

Aspens Services in Bath is recruiting a Catering Assistant (with Driving) to keep the lunchtime rush running smoothly, supporting the kitchen in basic food preparation, serving on tills, and safely delivering meals between schools.

You will work Monday to Friday during school term time, 20 hours per week over 38 weeks, with full training provided in health and safety and Food Hygiene Level 2. This is a friendly, growth-oriented role in a market-leading education caterer.

Qualifications

• You’re a team player and thrive as part of a busy team.
• You have previous catering or fast-paced service experience.
• You have a basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• The Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is great, but not essential, as we can provide the training!
• You will hold a full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Working on the tills during service.
• Providing friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff.
• Assisting the team with basic food preparation
• Ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment and meeting Health and Safety compliance
• Safely delivering meals between schools
